Weapons Bans.
I have thought a lot about this particular subject and have in fact come to one invariable conclusion, banning ones right to self defense is not only extremely dangerous to individual rights as well as an individuals self determination and ability to defend ones life and property, but also threatens to destroy the very fabric of the American institution of life, Liberty herself. Banning an individuals personal freedom to bear arms, that is to arm oneself with whatever weapon is used in any particular age with which to defend oneself against the constant threat of violence that surrounds men, no matter what period of time we live, constitutes a more sinister threat than any terrorism I have ever seen throughout all my days. I will attempt to demonstrate on paper that which cannot be overlooked, but also that which is not, it seems, so easily seen. I'll remind the reader, that no matter what the overall opinion of the popular media and general consensus states on the overall safety of the public welfare, the very idea of sinister thought is deeply embedded within the minds of evil men at all times, no matter where they live, in every country around the world, always.
A weapons ban law is a law put into place under the guise of individual protection. In reality however, taking away defensive weaponry, such as assault rifles, and creating stringent firearms permit laws, creates an imminent threat to individual protection. No intelligent individual can deny that sticks and stones can be utilized as just an effective weapon with which to kill someone. So why do people feel that they are more safe from that threat whilst they are disarmed? The answer to that question is psychology. A psychology of fear.
Let us not forget one of the greatest sins of king David of Israel ( 1st Chronicles 21 ), numbering his troops. Civilian weapons bans lead to the ability to gain an accurate numbering of all that draw the sword, and that numbering, being so accurate, could be obtained by enemy forces. A disarmed civilian population also allows an enemy to embed within the civilian population ( be weary of silver tongued devils ) and hold that civilian population hostage. A military is made up of recruits from the surrounding population and they would be unable and unwilling to fight back against another military force embedded within their own civilian population for fear of their families and friends executions. Mexico is a prime example of this tactic being used. Without rearming the civilian population they are doomed. This seems to have been done in Mexico to prepare for the attacks in America, allowing mass poverty (which led to weapons being used as a form of gaining money through robbery and drug sales and the psychology of fear to be implanted within the minds of the civilian population ) before the weapons bans took place in California. That subject we will address in the coming months.
